If we want the best results from our exercise program it’s vitally important to choose the right fuel both before and after workouts. This will ensure the time and effort invested in training doesn't go to waste. If we provide the nutritional support our body needs, each workout will take us one step closer to the body we want. If we fail to meet our bodies' needs, our program can only deliver a glimse of the results we could achieve.
During each training session we’re purposefully imposing stress on our body in the hope that it’ll adapt to become stronger, leaner and more toned. If the nutrients required to replenish, repair and tone our muscles are available all goes according to plan. If, however, there’s a lack of these essential building blocks, our bodies will likely not respond to our exercises as much as we’d like.
